一个新的工具 ALIVE2 在 John Regehr 的博客中被介绍，是跟 Nuno Lopes 一起写的。 ALIVE 有发过论文，这个工具或许有不少的应用范围。
John Regehr and Nuno Lopes have written a blog post on Alive 2. It will take an unoptimised function in LLVM IR and either proves that it is refined by the optimized version of the function, or else shows a set of inputs that illustrate a failure of refinement.

之前小编一号推荐过松冈正刚先生的《历史与现实——东方卷》，这本书是姊妹篇。分两次推荐是因为小编是分两次看完的，书只有看差不多了才会推荐。
通过这本书知道了原来伊拉克从一战前后的来龙去脉，沙特阿拉伯原来是哪个列强都不搭理的小地方。还有很多有意思的论述。
作者说的相互记谱法，小编一号的感觉就是「站在一个少数派别民族的视角去看到这个世界的关系」。从日本这个小型岛国人民的视角可以看到很多。被侵略的、侵略邻国的、被占领的、占领邻国的，各种身份和视角都集中在一起，看到的世界更加丰富一点。
推荐两本书一起阅读，相信会有很多拍大腿的顿悟时刻。
