面对地面上一个大洞，我本能的会同时感觉到好奇和恐惧。理性让我想象起能够吞噬我的巨大的蛇、带有致命神秘细菌的蝙蝠，以及走进去之后，双脚的脚踝浸没在上百年的蝙蝠湿润粘滞的粪便中。

然而并不是所有的洞穴都有蝙蝠粪便积累成的沼泽。有些天然溶洞，非常的漂亮，吸引着全世界不同地区的人，一代又一代的往下探底。生还者带来动人的故事和已经被现代科学挤压的所剩无几的新鲜感。作者让我重新回忆起，小时候对于洞穴的视觉记忆，几乎都来自于《西游记》：充满光，充满法力，充满人性（尤其是贪婪的一面）。现实中的洞穴，没有光，没有超能力，几乎完全考验自己个人的力量。

我可能此生都不会下探未知的洞穴，不过我很乐意向各位推荐这本书，见己所未见。
