非常有意思的一本书，尤其是结合现在川普上台之后DOGE美式反腐，让过去欧美宣发体系的无数已经植入全球（包括中国）民众的概念被解构甚至逆转。本书是一位英国人在中国多年之后，陈述大量新中国以来的各种历史性成就，尤其是在带领6亿人脱贫等超大规模成就上。这些成就重复表达的次数太少了，淹没在了日常的语境中。感谢马斯克让我们看到了美国仅仅USAID每年就投入了上亿美金给了数千名记者、意见领袖，用于重复强化USAID希望看到的观点。

在这个浮躁的年代，我们需要更多的读书。虽然浮躁的定义一直在变，但是书本这么多年来，价格一直很稳定。
