这本书并不是上野教授的书，而是她的一个继续教育的学生的工作。从学生（同时也是艺人）的视角，让我们看到了一个「普通人」身处讨论之中的时候是如何思考和一步一步改变自己的。

看完之后，最大的感受是很羡慕大学的学生，想要同样置身火药味很浓抑或气氛很紧张的文献研讨会。
