我承认在挑选这本书的时候，我是内心膨胀的。在囫囵吞枣的阅读了《理想国》和《西方哲学史》以及一些面向大众的小册子之后，我理所当然的认为自己已经准备好了。作者用谦虚的态度指出了我对自己的判断的错误。请容许我以自己知道的无知为底气，直接引用扉页上的介绍：

《社会学主要思潮》是思想大师雷蒙·阿隆的一部力作，汇集了从1955年到1958年之间在索邦大学的讲义，代表了他在社会学领域的潜心研究的最高成就。

本书选了包含了马克思、涂尔干、马克斯·韦伯等7位社会学家的主要著作及思想。我用自己有限的阅读向各位保证，作者的文笔相对于书中介绍的社会学大师们的论著，那是要简单通俗多了。

书很厚，或许不适合通勤时携带，适合周末去公园等有人的地方拿出来，阅读和思索。
