作者是大名鼎鼎的贾雷德·戴蒙德教授，本书的深度和厚度都有保障。很厚，值得自己闲暇无事、真的是一两天都一点没有事情做的时候看。一开始看很有意思像是在考古。之后慢慢看着你就看到了人类的可怕。本书让我最为震撼的，是文中提到的几乎所有的「稍微」先进一点的人类群体就会对周围的装备或知识落后一些的群体进行驱逐和屠杀。不仅登上澳大利亚的白人对当地原住民的屠杀毫无人性，美国白人对印第安人的杀戮也有过之而无不及。作者在某一页特地收录了美国历代总统的种族灭绝言论，看着非常的讽刺和震撼。无论是中国的春秋五代十国、还是美国的西部大开发、澳洲的殖民运动、非洲的种族间大屠杀，都不可避免的诱惑着读者陷入绝望，被道德的相对主义所吞噬。

人类的历史，字缝之间满是吃人二字。鲁迅诚不欺我。
