国庆假期开始的时候，小编1号在Kindle中胡乱购买了一批电子书籍，以期在旅途中能够有所阅读，得到一些收获。结果证明，捡到宝了。

作者是一位美国的资深的法学教授，同时也是出入法庭辩护的常客，同时也写了不少的论文和小说。而这本书，《致年轻律师的信》，绝对不是只对美国的年轻律师管用。实际上或许恰好相反，这本书对于美国的新人律师的引导和激励作用，有可能远远没有给地球另一边的非新人律师的我，效果更大。

我从高中开始，由于身边同学的影响，开始接触（美国的）法律通识和常识，最早的接触来自于林达夫妇的「近距离看美国」系列。让我看到了一种（近乎理想主义下的）美国法制现状，美国最高法院的9人大法官的辉煌历史。进入大学的同时我也开始近距离的看到中国大陆的现状，那时候更是调查记者式微、我所敬仰的新闻记者逐渐淡出的时代。让我深刻的认识到了走向法制过程中的艰辛和难能可贵。而随着对国内司法案例的跟踪，我变得逐渐的悲观，并逐渐的将视线从国内的法制/司法进程中移开，去做更加靠近科学技术的领域。再后来阅读了更多的历史，知道了「人人生而平等」开始并没有包含黑人和少数裔，投票权直到最近百年才覆盖到女性，大法官的判决并不是每次都会被行政分支执行，以及并不是每一次最高法院的判词都满足今天的道德标准。

可以说，我经历了一个少年从热血到逐渐犬儒、最后回归到普通的过程。而此时此刻，我遇见了《致年轻律师的信》。

我推荐所有的伙伴阅读这本书。 Alan Dershowitz 在书中阐述的原则和常识，实际上是适用于人类社会的普遍描述，以及适用于不同文化社群的普适性指导原则。 稻盛和夫说，做企业的时候，标准是「生为人，何为正确？」，而 Alan Dershowitz 在本书中则更为具体，不仅仅是「身为律师，何为正确」，而且是「身处道德判断，何为正确」？

愿你此生不用深陷重大的道德或伦理选择；更愿你在遇到之前，已经阅读过本书。
